WEEE Recycling
At the Universal Recycling Company we follow all the latest WEEE Regulations to ensure that all electronic waste and white goods are disposed off safetly and correctly. As one of the few WEEE licensed and authorised treatment facilities in the Yorkshire area, we have increased our capability base to deal with all WEEE scrap that falls into the classification.
IT and Computer Recycling
At our Rotherham based site, as part of the WEEE directive, we process circuit boards and IT equipment on a regular basis and we can also undertake TV recycling. These products are handled in an environmentally friendly way via our state-of-the-art reclamation machinery.
Our machinery shreds the WEEE scrap and breaks down the materials into various components in our pressurised air and water separating plants. The separated WEEE material is automatically sorted into metallic, plastic and ferrous particles suitably ready for onward processing.
